Created right at the Dogs of Pride headquarters, this sugar scrub is a calming and moisturizing exfoliation treatment, great for use on dry and flaky skin, especially on older dogs who have lost the ability to slough of their own dead skin cells as easily as they used to. (Just like us, that's why we have skin scrubs too!)
To use, Remove top and place in microwave for 10-20 seconds or in a double boiler (bowl of hot water). Spoon or scoop out what you need - a little goes a long way and too much will leave the coat greasy even after bathing - and massage gently into coat and troubled areas.
Do NOT use on open sores or broken skin as the abrasive action may aggravate issues further.
Rinse with warm water and continue with a soothing shampoo and appropriate conditioner for the coat type.
