Sandy Gyorgyi is the owner of Showseason® Animal Products, a pet product manufacturer that operates in Atlanta, Georgia. In year 2000, two years after opening her first business, contract filling company, Georgia Labeling & Filling, Inc., Sandy began making Showseason® products with her desire for better products for the professional pet grooming industry. She is directly responsible for the development of successful private label items that are sold world wide in retail and wholesale establishments. Her favorite part of owning Showseason® is her ability to network with incredible distributors and pet industry specialists that continue to innovate in areas like aromatherapy, cat grooming, spa treatments and other items that make grooming more efficient and more importantly, more fun!
Donna F. Walker and Lisa Vella are the owners of South Bark Dog Wash, an award winning self -service dog wash, established in San Diego, California in October of 2000, and South Bark professional Pet Products a pet shampoo wholesaler and distributor. They are directly responsible for the co-development of a very popular product and process, South Bark ‘s Blueberry Facial® and other successful private label items that are sold for retail and wholesale. Donna and Lisa are considered very credible within the Professional Pet Industry and lecture at many Pet Industry trade shows.
Donna is a published writer and authored many pet industry magazine and newspaper articles. She is also a Registered Veterinary Technician and has a degree in Animal Health Technology. Donna F. Walker retired honorably after 20 years as a Chief Photographers Mate and filmmaker for the United States Navy.
Lisa comes from a successful business family background. She has extensive knowledge and training within animal obedience, nutrition and business development. Lisa belongs to many professional and neighborhood organizations.
Lisa Vella is also a Professor of Photography for San Diego City College and a Mommy.
Daryl Conner is a certified Petcare Dermatech Specialist, Master Pet Stylist, Meritus and Certified Master Cat Groomer. She serves as Vice President of the Professional Cat Groomers Association of America as well as the Society of Holistic Pet Stylists. Daryl writes monthly articles for Groomer to Groomer magazine, is author of Hair of the Dog grooming blog, and is also the author of the book Practical Grooming Tips and co-author of Holistic Pet Styling. She is the recipient of the coveted 2005 Cardinal Crystal award for Journalism and the ’06 and ‘07 award for Congeniality, and the 2013 Barkleigh award for writing.
Known for her fun and informative educational classes at grooming shows in the US and elsewhere, Daryl’s grounded, friendly style makes her an approachable and popular teacher. With 32 years of grooming experience, her abiding love of animals and passion for her trade radiates out to everyone she touches through her work.
Koko is an International Certified Master Groomer and Certifier of IPG. She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She holds many awards in grooming contest field including, Multiple Best in Shows and Best All Around Groomer awards. Koko earned her place on Groom Team USA in 2007, and 2008. representing the US in the 2009 World Team Grooming Championship in Germany, and helped her team win the Gold. Koko was nominated for the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for American Groomer of the Year in 2008. Since retiring from the competition ring, Koko has started mentoring advanced groomers. Also, has traveled extensively as a speaker, certifier and judge in the US, and other countries. She is honored to be a groom team USA member and strongly believes and is appreciative that without all USA groomers support, she couldn’t have achieved this success. She is currently living in Tennessee and owns her own mobile grooming business, Koko’s Paws.
Meghan Clarke was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. At the age of 18 she took a 5 month Pet Grooming Apprenticeship from the top groomer in her area and at 21 she opened Doggie Stylz Pet Grooming in Paradise, NL. Meghan owned Doggie Stylz for close to ten years before relocating to Nova Scotia and now owns and operates The Downtown Hound Pet Spa in Truro, NS. She has competed and placed both nationally and internationally and hopes to continue competing in the near future. She has shown her Standard Poodles in the CKC and AKC ring and often grooms other poodles for show. Many of Meghan's grooms have been featured in industry books and magazines, local news outlets and even in a TV commercial! She has also written articles for industry publications and has had a personal grooming blog post go viral. Meghan enjoys offering both private and group seminars in an effort to bring local groomers together. She has also been an instructor for a grooming program offered at a provincial college in NL. Many of Meghan's clients travel great distances to avail of her professional talents.
Janice Pynn I.C.M.G. began her grooming career in November, 2004, when she opened Wagging Tails Pet Spa in Truro, after completion of an online grooming course. Janice has pursued further education by attending numerous seminars all over North America. Although her grooming career began by solely grooming dogs, Janice soon realized there was a great demand for cat grooming in my area. On obtaining membership with NCGIA in September, 2009 and studying the cat grooming certification materials, her cat grooming education is a continuous love and passion that continues to this day.
Janice also continued her education and personal challenges through the IPG and completed all the levels to achieve her Master Groomer status in 2013.
